    Responsabilidades

    DESCRIPTION:

    The SAP Basis Supervisor is responsible for the managemet of the SAP enviroments in LA and USA. Provides technical leadership for critical projects as well as higher level production support while interfacing with internal IT teams and global support teams for platform operation and improvement. Is responsible to assure the optimal operation of the plaform and the continuous improvement, manages the team and resources to achive the goal of present and future stability.

     

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible of supporting the SAP business systems environments including all landscapes and connected peripheral systems.
    • Responsible for ensuring technical standard and procedures are put in place to ensure system availability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system problems by engagement of his team, vendors and other service owners. Manage onshore and offshore resources.
    • Responsible for developing and implementation of preventive maintenance routines and upgrades of all BSAT SAP environments.
    • Leads SAP Enhancement Packages (EhP) installation.
    • Responsible for metrics and continuous improvement for the area. Responsible for reporting to management.
    • Participates on periodic disaster recovery activities and testing.
    • Responsible to elaborate and keep the documentation up to date for all services and platforms that supports.

    Cualidades

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.
    • Certifications in Sap Basis Administration, Oracle DB certification.
    • At least 3 years of SAP Basis experience.
    • At least 3 years of SAP Basis/Netweaver experience.
    • 3 to 5+ years of lead SAP work experience and process management.
    • Bilingue spanish-English (Advance-B2+)

     

    SKILL/KNOWLEDGE:

    • Knowledge on the products ECC, BW, BI, EP, XI/PI, CRM, SRM, etc
    • Experience in UNIX, Windows operating systems as a SAP server platform.
    • Experience in troubleshooting system performance problems or potential system installations.
    • Experience in Oracle DB administration.
    • Demonstrated progressive experience in the performance management of a solutions oriented service team.
    • Exceptional customer service orientation with solid relationship and performance management skills.
    • Strong project management skills is a plus.
    • SAP HANA is a plus.
