Responsabilidades / Responsibilities

Purpose

 

This IT Sr. Professional is going to be associated with interdisciplinary approaches to developing and operating software and systems products and services across the full life cycle within Manufacturing Environment. Under a DevOps frameworks this specialist is going to set a site reliability engineering and developer productivity engineering:

 

  • He/She is adopting and adapting systems development life cycle models based on the context of the work and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
  • He/She is responsible to developing a supporting framework of methods, procedures, techniques, tools, and internal/external people with required skills, knowledge and competencies; deploying and using this environment with the internal/external people and focused teams that are responsible for all systems and software life cycle engineering.
  • Building synergies with manufacturing teammates to build repeatable and reliable capabilities through a process of trial, feedback, learning and continual evolution adapting working practices to the needs of specific products and services into Manufacturing processes.
  • She/He is supporting with the IT Coordinator the defining, controlling, and improving software life cycle processes considering the risk management, quality, security, privacy and safety.
  • He/She is focusing and maximizing the automation of manufacturing activities focusing on mission, value and internal customers adopting and integrating appropriate industry frameworks to guide improvements. Creating and reinforcing a positive work environment for the business unit to operate in accordance with Bridgestone's values.

Core activities

  • Collaborates with those responsible for ongoing systems and software life cycle management to select, adopt and adapt working practices under Bridgestone's corporate guidelines.
  • Supports deployment of the working environment for manufacturing systems and software life cycle working practices.
  • Provides effective feedback to encourage development of the internal/external individuals and teams responsible for systems and software life cycle working practices.
  • Adopt the standardized processes related to the implementation of IT projects in BSCR in order to achieve good service attention and comply with internal and external audit points.
  • Provides guidance and makes suggestions to support continual improvement and learning approach, working with internal/external resources.
  • Contributes to identifying new domains within the manufacturing organizations where systems and software life cycle working practices can be deployed.
  • Coordinate, document and supervise system restoration activities and machine shutdowns, during and after any incident with the aim of minimizing the impact on the production process and business objectives (Quality, Safety, Productivity and Costs).
  • Support and active participation within multidisciplinary work teams under the common framework of providing a high availability, quality and robust solution to the business, ensuring the motivation of the team members to achieve the objectives.

Requisitos / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computing sciences or related.
  • English Intermediate (B1, B2)
    Portuguese--> Desirable
  • Minimum experience of 3 years in manufacturing processes and information systems, which are critical to maintain the continuity of production in plants.
  • Experience into of the full life-cycle system environment (DevOps with Scrum techniques)
  • Analysis and resolution of problems presented in the Manufacturing process linked with system performance, to offer a comprehensive proposal to the client.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing communication interfaces with different devices for obtaining and collecting data at different levels of integration.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in designing systems for automation, tire manufacturing process, development and implementation and work under pressure. 
  • High knowledge in architecture, design, analysis, and systems development.
  • Advanced SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Linked Servers), Advanced Oracle (PSQL), Advanced WEB IIS/PHP, Advanced Visual Studio Dot Net, OPC,
  • Communication protocols: ModBus, Serial, TCP/IP, UDP, PLCs,
  • Platform development Linux security skills
  • Peripherals devices and PLC
  • LAN/WAN and Wireless Concepts
  • Change management and Development techniques.
  • Data storage and management (incl AWS)
  • Project Management Methodology
  • Emerging technologies (Digital Marketing, Agile Method, Ecommerce, Cloud)
  • Certifications: PMP, ITIL, Industry 4.0 framework, Scrum / Agile and DevOps Techniques or related DevOps, DevSecOps, site reliability engineering, developer productivity engineering, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams, MS-Project)
